Sarah was looking for some special photos back around Valentine's Day. Residing on the windward side of the island, we were able to convince her to come to the west side for a secluded boudoir shoot by the water. As it turned out, we were forced to reschedule, being washed out by heavy rains and rather nasty conditions. The next day, the clouds parted just in time for a gorgeous sunset to peek through! The recent rain and surf had left puddles and tide pools full, making for some stunning reflection shots. The ominous weather imparted a dichotomy of moody shadows to the bright colors of the sunset. Waves crashed on the steep cliffs, sending spray high into the air just as the darkness settled in.
